Sister Peggy Doyle

On Tuesday, March 3, Sisters Mary Ann Rossi and Peggy Doyle gave vocation talks to the 184 students at Trinity Catholic Middle School, formerly Saint Gabriel Parish School in Stamford. We prayed that the Congregation of Notre Dame Sisters who founded this school and taught there would have left many blessings there. We should have asked for energy and endurance for the presenters because each of us taught SEVEN classes nonstop with a 20 minute break for lunch. However, our prayers were answered! The children were very receptive. When we asked if they knew any sisters, the recurring reply was “Sister Marie at St. Cecilia’s School.” It was so heartening that a Congregation of Notre Dame woman was part of their fond memories. Thank you Sister Marie Buckley, CND! Our “props” for these presentations were “nesting dolls” shaped like owls. We hope our parting message will remain in their hearts “Whooooo is God calling me to be?”
