Peace Pole Dedication

On June 5, many CND’s in Kingston responded to Eleanor Monahan’s invitation to participate in the “Dedication of Our Peace Pole” at Briargate Retirement Community where Eleanor lives. This is the first Peace Pole erected in the Kingston area and it was Eleanor’s initiative along with the wholehearted support of the staff and residents that made it possible.

Sister Gilberte Bussière is back in Canada

Sister Gilberte Bussière, CND, who was abducted in the Extreme North of Cameroon on April 5 and released on June 1, is now back in Canada. She arrived earlier today at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. The sisters of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame are united with her family in giving her a warm welcome! Sister Gilberte is in good health and very happy to be reunited with her loved ones.
