We were excited to receive three of Libby’s colleagues from the University of Prince Edward Island for dinner on Thursday, Sept. 23. Two of whom are from India and one is from Nigeria. We enjoyed a chicken feast together, along with sharing who we are, including conversations of our different faith traditions. It was an exhilarating conversation, and all were as eager to share as we were. As a congregation, we continue to deepen our call to live interculturality. At Raspberry Avenue, we wanted to share our unexpectedly intercultural experience that all started with dinner. Libby really wants to end with: A Sikh, a Hindu and a Muslim walk into Raspberry Ave... and laughter, prayer and fellowship followed.

Reader 1: We begin our celebration of the Season of Creation using the prayers and readings from September 5, the first Sunday liturgy of this season.
From Our Leadership Team
The new Leadership Team--Mary Anne Foley, Jaculyn Hanrahan, Nancy Downing, Joan Curtin, and Eileen Good—began its ministry on September 18th with this beautiful blessing prepared by the Chapter Liturgy Committee, as many witnessed on Zoom. We are so grateful for the prayer and support we have received.
But of course each one of us is called to leadership in whatever setting we find ourselves, and so we offer this blessing to all of you in turn, asking that our loving God gift you with
mindfulness
wisdom
stillness
passion
creativity
compassion
integrity,
and many good friends.
