Associate Relationship

Visitation Province

In the past year we have seen the move to two associate co-coordinators in both the Central and Eastern Regions. In June we will see the completion of Winnie Odo’s second term as associate co-coordinator for the Eastern Region. We, the leadership team, are very grateful for Winnie’s many years of creative and generous service to and with associates and sisters. We extend to Winnie our best wishes for a future full of hope and continuing service in new and wonderful directions.

Since August 2014, Winnie and Marjorie Allison-Ross have shared the coordination role. Now it is time to embark on a prayerful reflection and discernment for choosing a new coordinator to engage in this important ministry. We are asking both sisters and associates who would be interested and feeling called to discern the possibility of becoming a co-coordinator in August 2015 in the Eastern Region. The names of those willing to take part in a group discernment process, at a later date with a facilitator, are to be forwarded to Nina Glinski by February 28. We are grateful for your participation and prayerful solidarity in this process.

Twice in the year the six Visitation Province coordinators and the leadership team liaison gather in Montreal to share the richness of their diverse experiences and dreams about the future. The next meeting of Associate coordinators will be held March 24-26, in Montreal.

Those attending these meetings gratefully welcome ideas, concerns or questions you may have concerning associate relationship in your regions of Visitation Province.
