From Our Leadership Team

Blessed Sacrament Province

2017-2021 goals: to engage the CND family of Blessed Sacrament Province in the implementation of the General Chapter 2016-2021 orientation, to facilitate the sisters’ and associates’ participation in moving the province forward, and to create a climate that supports the capacity of each sister to live fully and well in mission for the whole of our lives.

Looking back over the past year, we recognized the generous participation of sisters and associates that enabled us to approach each of our goals, and we count on your help as we continue. In particular, we draw your attention to the following:

Melba Vásquez Rodríguez. Pastoral Associate and Director of Religious Education. St. Aloysius Parish, Manhattan

To all the CND Sisters gathered in Wilton, CT on June 23, 2016:

I would like to say thank you very much for your welcome to your Province. Thank you for opening your heart and giving me the opportunity to live the VISITATION among you. I am sorry I could not be at your meeting, but I will be with you in my prayers. Friday, July 29th, I will be leaving to visit my family and to make my spiritual retreat. We will continue united in our CND Mission: Rooted in Jesus, cultivated love and compassion.

With love, Melba Vasquez, CND

(P.S. The Hispanic Ministry Office of the Archdiocese of New York is asking me to serve as Archdiocesan Delegate Team Member for the New York State Regional ENCUENTRO, June 22 – 24 in Albany, NY. Thank you for your prayers and solidarity with the immigrants. This will be my topic in this meeting.)
