Sign the Petition

Anne T. Gillis, CND

This is the latest in a wave of experts ringing the alarm – the climate crisis is here. In a couple of weeks, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is going to COP26 [The 26th Conference of Parties to the UNFCCC] — the world’s biggest climate summit, where world leaders will decide how to tackle the climate emergency. We have no time for half-measures and empty promises.

While Trudeau is preparing for COP26 [Oct.31-Nov.12], a flood of pressure from people across Canada could make sure he doesn't let this crucial opportunity for bold climate action pass us by.

You could be one of 14,000 to sign the petition demanding Trudeau deliver a climate-safe future by committing to bold and necessary climate action at COP26. To show Prime Minister Trudeau that the public is paying attention to what he promises at the summit — we need to make this petition huge.

We know that people are more likely to sign a petition shared by a friend. If everyone reading this shares the petition, we could add thousands more names in just a few hours.
