Greetings from Cameroon

Life here in Tobin keeps moving ahead & our new house is still a “work in progress” even as we live in it! Our two first year candidates will be going on retreat and then a home visit later this month while our two second year candidates are preparing to enter the novitiate.

Please keep all of us in your prayer.

Having Eileen Good here is a blessing for the candidates as well as for Cecile and me. Enjoy the activities that the summer brings. United in prayer and spirit, Cathy

Profession

It is with great joy that I share with you that, at the meeting of May 11, 2011, the members of the General Council and Sr. Josephine Badali accepted the request of Sr. Janet Lawrence to make her first vows in the Congrégation of Notre-Dame for a period of three years.

In her acceptance letter, Sister Josephine quoted the prophet Jeremiah, “I know the plans I have in mind for you… plans to give you a future full of hope.” (Jer. 29:11).

We all pray that Sr. Janet’s future will indeed unfold gently and that each day will be filled with hope. We assure Sr. Janet of the prayers all the Sisters and Associates in the Congregation.
