Alcide and Gemma celebrated 40 years of Congregation de Notre-Dame Associates Relationship. Alcide said he believes he is the first man in Atlantic Canada to be an Associate. The Miramichi group also celebrated Alcide’s 90th birthday. A prayer service and intercessions were recited and the group celebrated the beauty of creation. The Congregation de Notre-Dame spirit is very active in the Miramichi group.

Letters to Juliet is a happy movie, a love story. In Italy, an elderly lady (Vanessa Redgrave) is hoping to find a long-lost love. Her grandson is helping her, along with a pretty and smart young journalist. The scenery is magnificent. The story is predictable, but I enjoyed this movie very much - no car crashes, no guns, no violence; only beauty, and hope, in a persistent search. Available on Netflix.
